October 2002 Newsletter

Dear friend of yoga,

There are some major events coming up at YiY in the next few weeks:

* YiY's 3rd Year Anniversary Party

Saturday November 16, from 6:30pm till late

This is our way of showing our appreciation of the yoga community, and a way for you to get to know some of the sweaty people you have been practicing next to all year long. Plenty of food and drinks will be provided, so mark your calendars. Everyone is invited, bring a guest!

* Lino Miele Ashtanga Yoga Intensive Workshop

November 12-17

There are still spaces available. Prices go up after November 11th, so hurry to pre-register. We will be allowing a limited number of drop-ins, space permitting. Also look out for a poster at YiY of classes cancelled due to the Lino workshop.

* Photos of the Pattabhi Jois 2002 World Tour in San Francisco

Fresh off the press, 20 exclusive photos of this incredible gathering of 300 yogis with the guru of ashtanga yoga.

* Holiday Schedule

November: Closed Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th.

December -January: Closed Tuesday 24th through Wednesday January 1st.

The studio will still be available for morning open practice.
