Beata is leading YiY morning Mysore program. She holds a level II authorization to teach the ashtanga yoga system that she received from KPJYI in Mysore, India. She has started her yoga adventure over 20 years ago in Poland in an Iyengar class. She practiced Iyengar and many other styles of yoga before completely dedicating herself to ashtanga.
In 2004 she tried her first Mysore practice and it happened to be with Tim Miller in Encinitas. It was love at the first sight and there was no going back. The same year and many more times after she went back to study with him. Since then she studied with many other senior teachers like Nancy Gilgoff, David Swanson, Lino Miele, David Roche just to name a few. She traveled several times to Mysore India to study at the source, with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Sharath. She feels blessed that she still had a chance to meet Guruji and practice in his presence. In recent years having two little boys made traveling to study with her teachers, especially in India, rather challenging but she tries to see them whenever there is a chance.
