As our nation grieves the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many other Black lives lost at the hands of the police officers sworn to protect them, we at Yoga is Youthfulness wanted to publicly express our solidarity and say that Black Lives Matter.
Our Black friends, neighbors, colleagues, and community members are suffering and not safe, and treated as if they don’t matter. For those of us outside this community, it is clear that we must find ways to do much more to dismantle systemic racism in our country.
It’s true, Yoga is Youthfulness. I can’t believe what it has done for me. 5 years ago I could hardly walk, was in terrible pain, and my Chiropractor said I might need back surgery. Now I can stand on my head and am not afraid of the little aches and pains that come along with these older ages. I know I can deal with them if I continue my practice on a regular basis. Thanks for your kindness and for a wonderful studio.

” Just dropping a line to say that you are doing a terrific job with the website, newsletter, adding new/more classes, workshops and special events. While I haven’t attended a class in several months, I have taken several different classes with a few different instructors there and have always had a great experience. “
