Yoga Nidra is a systematic and step by step technique to bring about complete physical, mental, and emotional release and relaxation. I was first exposed to a Yoga Nidra or sometimes referred to as deep healing relaxation class few decades ago. The sense of deep rest that I felt had such profound effect on me that I had to deepen my understanding of how it works.
